- Direct and supervise prosecutorial affairs related to cybercrime - Support and oversee cybercrime investigations in regional prosecutors' offices - Research and develop techniques and equipment for cybercrime investigations - Hire, manage, and train cybercrime investigators - Facilitate domestic and international cooperation in combating cybercrime

Director's Duties:

  • As the Secretariat of the APC-HUB
  • the KSPO manages the overall operation of the hub and coordinates working group activities. This includes developing and delivering a comprehensive training program to combat cybercrime and organizing the Annual General Meeting.
David Satola

David Satola

WB co-chair

Mr. Satola provides legal advisory services on a range of technology and law-related issues, both internally to the World Bank and externally to its member states. His expertise spans information and communications technologies (ICT), including telecommunications, the internet, e-commerce, cybersecurity, data protection, and open-source software. He leads the World Bank’s initiative to build capacity to combat cybercrime (www.combattingcybercrime.org) and represents the Bank at the GFCE’s Working Group C on Cybercrime. He holds a BA and an MA from Johns Hopkins University, a JD from the University of Wisconsin, and has also studied at the London School of Economics and the Hague Academy of International Law.

Director's Duties:

  • The World Bank provides training materials for APC-HUB participants and helps select and assess the participating countries.
Wouter Veenstra

Wouter Veenstra

GFCE co-chair

Mr. Veenstra is in the lead of GFCE Global Outreach & Partnerships where he started in 2015. His key responsibilities are to thrive community engagement of GFCE Members and Partners as well as to identify and connect potential key stakeholders on Cyber Capacity Building based on their wants, needs and means. Stakeholders are from all continents and include governments, intergovernmental organizations, private companies, academia and the technical community. Mr. Veenstra has a MSc in Economic History and previously worked at the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice for 14 years in various positions. His last position was Policy Advisor on Civil Aviation Security at the National Coordinator for Security and Counter Terrorism.

Director's Duties:

  • Through Working Group C of the GFCE
  • the APC-HUB serves as a platform supporting conferences and meetings organized by the group
  • participating in cyber capacity-building activities
  • and coordinating the APC-HUB project.

APC-HUB membership is open to professionals working in the field of combating cybercrime, including legislators, policymakers, judges, prosecutors, investigators, and others. Members may be invited to participate in the cyber capacity-building project and will gain access to knowledge and expertise in forensic science through APC-HUB.
