The Supreme Prosecutors’ Office of the Republic of Korea participated in the first project of ‘Combatting Cybercrime: Tools and Capacity Building for Emerging Economies,’ financed by a grant from the Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance under the Korean-World Bank Group Partnership Facility (KWPF) Trust Fund. The project was carried out in collaboration with the Council of Europe (CoE), the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations Conference on Trade & Development (UNCTAD), and others. The output of the project includes the Toolkit, Assessment Tool, and Virtual Library (www.combattingcybercrime.org).

The Supreme Prosecutors’ Office of the Republic of Korea participated in the second project of the 'Asia-Pacific Cybercrime Capacity Building Hub (APCCBH),' funded by a grant from the Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance under the Korean-World Bank Group Partnership Facility (KWPF) Trust Fund.

The World Bank visited the Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea to discuss the establishment of a cybercrime capacity-building hub for the Asia-Pacific region.

The World Bank conducted a feasibility study on the establishment of a cybercrime capacity-building hub.

The Supreme Prosecutors’ Office participated in the GFCE Working Group Meetings in The Hague, Netherlands, as a member of Working Group C. The GFCE is a key partner in capacity-building efforts in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new office for the APC-HUB Secretariat has been established within the Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea.

The Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea, the World Bank, and the GFCE have finalized the operational plan for APC-HUB.


Two professionals, including an interpreter, have been hired for  APC-HUB and the logo design for the website has been completed.

The 1st APC-HUB Training Session and the 1st Annual General Meeting were successfully conducted.

The 2nd APC-HUB Training Session and the 2nd Annual General Meeting were successfully conducted.

The 3rd APC-HUB Training Session and the 3rd Annual General Meeting were successfully conducted.

The official name ‘APC-HUB’ was finalized. 

In Strasbourg, France, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea, the World Bank, and the GFCE signed a trilateral memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the establishment of APC-HUB.
